PSU SMPS 220VDC 150mA ?
Hi guys,
I hope you can help me out, I'm looking for this PSU SMPS that can handle load of 220VDC 150mA. input is 12VDC or higher. does anyone knows the schematic or Kits I can order ?? I found PSU for Nixie but only can handle 50mA. I need 150mA for my project. regards cal |
I got my nixie tube clock kit, pretty cool little item. I started to build it and got to the point where I need to test the power supply. The power to it is supposed to be AC through one of those heavy plug in wall adapters that is pretty much a stepdown transformer. The output voltage parameters are 12VACand 9 to 12 VAC out of the adapter. The one I thought I was going to use turns out to be 12VDC, now I am screwed! I looked some around town and cannot find one that will work. I have a ton of these around the house but of course not the right one! Is there an easy way to build a circuit that I can put on a small separate board and wire it point to point? Theres not much that I could find to order online without paying a fortune for it. One company does have a cheap listing but are out of stock.

Well, I'm not sure about a CRT clock... but how about an oscilloscope clock?

I've used many a piece of nixie-display gear over the years. I may still have some of it stowed around here.....
I remember seeing a box of those dekatron tubes around here somewhere as well.... Those pics posted show some neat displays of these tubes. :thmbsp: |

I finally have my base coming. These were on back order for several years. I built my clock back in 2005. It is milled out of a single piece of aluminum.
