IIRC, the 11 came with the cyp or the bfp originally depending on how early or late in the production run. I would suspect that if you have an FJ it was a replacement at a later time done by a service technician.

Not uncommon...mine has a rebuilt tube with bonded face, and a safety glass. A nice things about these sets is they can use a wide variety of crt's.

I put in a bid on it - this is the first older color set I've seen within a few hundred miles of here.

Following this same philosophy, imagine you have an 18-wheeler with 18 bald tires all showing the cord. One of them goes flat. You just replace that one tire with a new one and go merrily on your way. Happy motoring.
