ETF has a beat up chassis, ask Steve if he'll let it go. It doesn't have a flyback or a lot of other parts, but for the sake of appearances...

Kamakiri-
Its nice to see the set taking shape--even if you are just having it for cosmetic reasons! Had to ask--Why in your signature, are you using a British Bush TV62 picture rather than some of the more exotic and interesting US made sets! It caught my eye, as Ive just about finished restoring one and modifying it to accept 625 line, instead of its original 405 line. Nice neat sets with good performance, these old Bush 62's (I'm in fear of being blackballed from UK based TV forums--Because I stuck an HDMI to AV box and socket in it, works with original chassis using it!) |
Why? Well, because Wardsweb created my sig line for me about, oh, a decade ago. I've just never changed it. Kinda like Captain Picard, it's just how people know me :D
|
Yup, just like Sandy with his Lincoln avatar, and me with the Green Hornet's Imperial. It's a badass car for sure and I really like it, but it's not my all-time favorite.

Nah--It wasnt the Avatar....
--Everyone knows Capt. Picard,--It was this-- http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f9.../kamakiri2.jpg As I say, Just finished renovating one of these sets, thats why it caught my eye...:thmbsp: This isnt mine, but the same model-- http://www.thevalvepage.com/tv/bush/tv62/front.jpg |
My cabinet has a serial number of 928. Wonder if it's been documented?
|
It was documented as a complete set. I would guess the cabinet information isn't published either because of redundancy (with only three digits) or there's been so much mix 'n' match between chassis and cabinets already.
