Looks like your vertical deflection circuits aren't working. Instead of a full raster from top to bottom, you have the classic horizontal stripe.

Don't run it for long periods with that bright horizontal line, or it may burn a dark strip across your CRT.

Have you replaced any parts on this TV? If not, caps in the vertical seem like a good starting place.

Yes all caps, including the electrolytics, have been replaced. And I thought this was going to be an easy set...

This is the best I can get it. Any changing of the ion trap, yoke or focus coil only makes it worse or gives me a horizontal line. I'm confused on what's happening or where to look next....any thoughts here?

Check the resistance on the vertical output transformer and yoke.
