I've also noticed that the original tubes used by Philco and DuMont/Emerson (in the 60s) were mostly Japanese. But, oddly, NOS replacements from those brands are often American made.

Bradfords were mostly GE's and this one fills that description.

Looks like a RCA 15 clone to me.

Late to the show again...That's an amazingly clean set. It sure does have early 60's styling. Very nice indeed.

My folks bought alot of stuff at the W.T. Grant & Co. stores. I remember being forced to go try on (acck) new clothes in there. Misery.
Bradford console stereos sounded pretty good. I bought a copy of "The Ventures Golden Greats" after hearing it on a big Bradford there in the store. |
Extraordinarily nice set! Excellent score. When do we get to see pictures of the set in operation?

Back looks RCA and the chassis looks similar to a 15 but I don't recall RCA making clones with a copper colored chassis. Other component inside look GE such as the convergence yoke and panel. Cabinet front is identical to GE. BTW, did anyone notice the cabinet back screw wedging up the flyback from the chassis? Must have had a intermittent HV problem.
