Ed,
Since Kamakiri doesn't have a copy, if you want, I could copy set 429-10 for the transistor multi-band Philco radio.
PM me your email so I can send it. It may take a day, there are 12 pages.
Ed

Didn't have it, but I'm 99% sure that's the one I gave to OS X with the Hoffman I restored for him. Toss him a PM, I'm sure he can send you a copy of it.

Hi Tim ,

would you happen to have ;

Sams # 836-8 for the GE T1225A AM FM radio ?

I'd like to restore this one because it uses both the usual 35W4 / 50C5 , 12AV6 , 12BE6 and 12BA6 for the AM portion but uses transistors for the FM portion (near as I can tell) .

Thank You .

Kamakiri 05-06-2017 07:30 PM

Drop me a PM and I'll check when I get back from ETF :)

init4fun 05-06-2017 07:53 PM

Thank You Tim , PM sent and I hope you and all the VKers have a great time at the ETF :thmbsp:

Kamakiri 07-26-2017 07:09 AM

Skips from 1470 to 1473. The higher numbers I have a lot of holes....

What's the set? I don't have the Sams either (1443-1489 are MIA...) but I may have it in Tekfax, OEM manual, or PDF....

I go from 307 to 2025, pretty continuous, minus holes in the 1200-1500 region. Dad had a loaner service for Sams, and when he closed up in 2008, he still had ~160 folders out on loan - he let them keep them, hence my holes, particularly for more common sets in the 1700-1800 series Sams...not to mention the ones I'g provided to others..

It's for my Bradford (GE) 19QB set. I'm also looking for one for my E48-2 Sylvania (Sams 1884-2); they're the only sets I have that are covered by Sams.

I may have the factory (GE) manual for the 19QB - a scan would be possible. E48 set I may have the Sams for - yours for postage. Lemme check in the morning - gotta play daddy tonight....

Awesome, thanks.

It may not be possible to search as I dont know the folder number, but Im looking for a schematic for a 1972-73ish B&W Sears TV, Model 528.51330113 and serial number X34121150. CRT is a 19VCKP4 if that helps at all. thanks

Kamakiri 09-18-2017 10:45 AM

I have the folder guide, and it's not anywhere in the Sams that I can see.....goes from 528.51240 to 528.51340 and both of those are 1958 model year. Double check the model number....... :)

Sams folder 1214-3.

Sears numbers are tricky to navigate in the index. You have to find the 528. section, and then use the next digits as if they are separate numbers. 51240 and 51340 are equivalent to 51,240 and 51,340.

528.51330113 requires you to first find the 528. section, and then the number 51,330,113 (which is way larger than 51,340). Look again, and you'll see how it seems screwy as you can't assume the numbers to the right of the decimal point are fractions.

Everyone's knowledge of these things always amazes me here. Just to verify, I double checked the model number and it is correct.

Kamakiri 09-18-2017 12:08 PM

My Sams skips from 1212 to 1215. Bah.

fixmeplease 09-18-2017 12:28 PM

Thank you for looking. At least now I know what folder I need.

Findm-Keepm 09-18-2017 01:15 PM

I have 1214-3 - yours for postage.

It has a tear along the spine, and someone drew a tube diagram off in one corner, but it's 100% usable and complete.

PM me your address.

fixmeplease 09-18-2017 01:23 PM

Thank you! PM sent

Notimetolooz 12-17-2017 09:37 AM

I'm looking for SAMS 374-16.

Kamakiri 12-17-2017 06:17 PM

Got it! PM me your address :)

john f 12-17-2017 07:44 PM

Sams 404 if available :D

Kamakiri 12-19-2017 08:01 AM

Which folder?

SpaceAge 12-19-2017 02:29 PM

I forgot I had asked you about 192-6 back on page 3 of this thread. I decided it would be best to test the CRT before moving forward. Eventually acquired a tester and the 17LP4 is 9/10:). You can delete my recent thread in the classifieds if you want, it's really not contributing anything useful.

How about a Sams 1525-3 ?

Thanks

Kamakiri 12-22-2017 09:35 AM

Unfortunately no luck on either.....

Chip Chester 12-29-2017 10:38 AM

As your holiday schedule permits...

I find myself in need of a Sams for Sylvania 21C626B for my Sylhouette HaloLight adventure.

Looks like Sams 427-2 (folder 2), 21C626 Series.

Thanks!

Kamakiri 01-02-2018 10:26 AM

Unfortunately missing folder 427.....

For the rest of you guys, I'll get them out this week :)

Chip Chester 01-02-2018 10:47 PM

OK, thanks -- I appreciate you taking a look-see.

Chip

Chip

Maybe I have this in Sams, but I do have it in E/T digest, which is factory Sylvania. I will check. your for postage

DavGoodlin 01-05-2018 04:05 PM

I do have the circuit digest 445 - Sylvania 541 chassis which listed your model, pm me with your email and I will scan a color copy to ya. This schematic itself is way better than the Sams version IMHO but Sams does have all the photos, parts list, etc.
