I like the set a lot. You probably wont see any more of those pop up ever.

ugly car = Nissan cube. I drive mainly Volvo's(vintage Cadillac's and a 92F-150), yeah boring but reliable and good in bad weather(AWD) and definitely safe!

I like the new tv, the cabinet appears flawless. Thanks for all of those great pictures too!

Greetings! Sorry for the delay in replying!

Yes, the pending holidays have been keeping me busy; another thing keeping me busy is my first roundie; The Brookfield CTC-11. I’ve been reading up on purity and convergence. The weekends keep slipping by and not much work has happened to the Brookfield in the past 3-4 weeks. Once I’m satisfied the Brookfield is complete, then I’ll assess where the Paterson is at. To be honest I haven’t even cracked off the back to peek inside! The seller claimed it had a raster and static out of the speakers, my friend who picked it up for me verified that. That is as much as I’ve done with the Paterson, I won’t plug it in until it has fresh parts.

It is flawless, one scratch on the right side, other than that, nothing. One member commented on the odd split level cabinet and how a person would have had a hard time placing a decorative doily on top; that probably helped keep the decorative junk off the top, and resulted in preservation! The Paterson is a way cool set; I can’t imagine many are still in existence today. From other comments about its design, I'm inclined to go with "Mid-Century Modern", perhaps the successor to deco?

I’ll keep the readers posted once the Brookfield is complete! Thanks!! Bill

I love the show Mad Men. As far as the TV goes, I never really could get behind the wildly asymmetrical cabinet styles. It is in good condition, though and the wood is a nice color.

I suppose it would look good in Don Draper's office.
