My cell phone isn't allowing me to search, so, I wonder. Usually he responds quick with a very fresh country style reply. If he's dead I want his Continental :)

Could be the semi-annual 'my computer blew up' break in the action, too.

I talked to Sandy several weeks ago, he was OK then. We're hoping to meet up in a week or so, his turntable needs attention, so I offered to assist him.

He's been absent since his wife passed. I hope he's doing okay emotionally.

I need to contact him one of these days to work out a deal to get a CTC5 into his hands.

If he's OK and not into TV's anymore, so be it. Some of us CANNOT be cured and he warned all of us about that when we introduced ourselves.

I'd gladly make a trip to the Great Smoky foot-hills to put an HF antenna tower up for him in Xchange for his Zenith Porthole! I really miss his presence on this board!:sigh:

Has anybody heard from Sandy lately? I've tried to call him several times in the last week about the CTC-5 I'd like to give him a deal on but he won't answer or return the messages I've left him. I just cleared out my PM box and messaged him but he's been absent here and on audiokarma since 2020 so I kinda doubt he's on the internet these days.

Anyone know his last name? And first name if "Sandy" is a nickname? I used to be a landlord, I can find out stuff about anybody...

You've probably got the exact same address and phone number as I have from chatting with him and giving him a free Panasonic TR-001 a few years ago.

I need to sell stuff so if I don't hear form him then tomorrow I'm going to make my CTC-5 available to the entire community along with the rest of my ETF meet 'for sale' items...If he gets back to me before someone else claims it I'll still let him have the 'friends and family' price.

With all the stuff going on I wouldn't blame him or be surprised if he doesn't want it anymore.

He once PM'd me about what my antenna tower cost to have installed. Sandy is 6 years older than me and, if I paid someone to put up used-good Rohn tower, he was certainly having trouble getting it done using local help.

Despite my numerous responsibilities and I actually considered a "mission trip" to the Cumberland Gap to present him any kind of antenna he needed for gas money. I have any and all antennas but H-F beams and the tower, which I can get that locally.
