CTC-5 pencil box latch
 

I think a common problem with these receivers is the failure of the push down brass release latch that opens the pencil box door. Also prevents locking the door in place when closing. Any one successfully repaired this latch? My lo-tech fix is to place a piece of thin cardboard in the door to hold in place.
