Dont beat each other up overthis, I just hope it goes to someone here before a fishtanker gets it.

I think that is a '5!

zenithfan1 07-19-2010 09:16 AM

It's a CTC5 Whitby! Someone get it!!

JB5pro 07-19-2010 09:52 AM

Oh boy! Doesn't that give you that Christmassy feeling to see that? It might even work! I am sure glad it was offered and you guys found it :) I guess it's kinda odd I think of Christmas seeing the offer... I guess I am wanting big presents this year.
It will be great to see that set turned on. I think the odds would haver it that it has a good fly and CRT and therefore will likely come on just needing the usual adjustents.

miniman82 07-19-2010 10:36 AM

Someone go get it, and drop it off at my house!

bgadow 07-19-2010 11:13 AM

Yep, I've got the identical set and it's a good one to have! This is worth somebody driving a ways.

Phil Nelson 07-19-2010 12:00 PM

"A ways" would be 3,100 miles one way for me :(

I cannot believe someone is giving something like that away for free. Im waiting for someday to find one like that at Value Village. If i did have one i could sell it to someone named superblonde for a profit ha ha!

Ampico-kid 07-19-2010 12:46 PM

Calm down boys.......this set was gone within minutes of DaveWM's posting here this morning at 9:03am. And no....I wasn't the one who claimed it.....even though I would like to have brought it home to my house. Bob

DaveWM 07-19-2010 01:24 PM

surprized it lasted that long, that listing was over a week old IIRC..

DaveWM 07-21-2010 09:24 AM

well the post has been deleted, anybody here the lucky guy?

JB5pro 07-21-2010 09:31 AM

I bet someone who could not go get it wrote the seller telling them it was very valuable hoping they would not let it go to a fishtank artist. Or more likely somebody just got lucky to get the first email request in and is very happy now.
