weekend finds

Here are my finds over the weekend, a rca 9-t-24 metal cabinet set, all there but the channel selector knob is half missing, and a rca 6-t-24 thats complete, with even the back, with the " golden throat" and "eye witness" sticker, whole set in very nice condition. And the icing on the cake was, the guy I got the 6-t-24 from threw in a B&K 1077!!!!

A year or so back, someone here posted an attachment containing a properly sized, down-loadable Indian Head Test Pattern in high resolution that could be printed on clear plastic, cut out and used in that 1077 you just scored.

Hopefully, the original poster will see this and send a link to it again.

Wow not bad for a weekend score !

There is a great book for the B&K called " television analyzing simplified" .
I have found it to be a excellent reference .

Test patterns ,I found this one .
I think this is the one I have used before with good results .

If anyone needs a copy of the main B&K test sheet, PM me and I'll scan it .

Hey, good timing. I just got a 1077B yesterday. It has several slides, but not this one.

Hey phil, do you know if the 4422 tube in the B&K is suppose to light up? My tester can't test this tube. I have voltage on the socket, but it does'nt light up.

Phil Nelson 02-12-2011 11:11 AM

I believe it does not glow, although I'm far from an expert, having owned my 1077B for less than two days.

This thread suggests a safe way to test a photo tube:

I figured it out. It does not light up. It's like a camera, it picks up the uv from the crt. I hooked up the 1077 to a known working tv and I get the test pattern, so it's working.
