Picture Tube

I just located a couple of picture tubes to have my 12LP4 replaced in my Admiral set, I'm wondering if I should go with the original model or go for the 12KP4 or the 12LP4A, I was told the aluminized tubes put off a better picture...

aluminized should produce a brighterr pic, and no need to fuss with the ion trap.

Dave Im thinking more towards 12KP4, as you said that it does produce a brighter picture..

Be advised a 12LP4A is not aluminized, it has a grey filter glass faceplate and requires an ion trap. I would choose the 12KP4.
