I have one like that, makes a very nice pic, think my TT is different but its a still a CTC 17, oh looked again that one has the tube tuner as well, prob with the SS power amp. Exacly the same as my CTC 16 roundie I got a few weeks ago.

I think it's a 23" black & white entertainment center.

It is not monochrome, but is in fact an early CTC17 color chassis.

That is the tube tuner/preamp also, with the solid state power amplifier.

CTC 17s are very nice, and I really like that style TT, I hope someone gets it.

A couple more.

I wish my 17 was that nice, someone cut the legs off and had bondage parties with it where it got the hot wax and cigarette burns treatment. It still works great though. It was the first tube set I found that got me back into this habit.

I still don't think it's a color set.. there's something that doesn't look right with the knob layout. RCA would have used a "higher end" set-up with a first generation rectangualr tube set, especially a combo. Plus the cabinet doesn't look big enough.

The two round knobs at the bottom are color and tint. vert horz tone contrast are under the speaker
