How loud should I expect a 2 WPC radio/CD player to be?

Hey gang! I'm looking at a radio/CD player that's rated at two watts per channel. Should something like this be loud enough for an average size bedroom?:scratch2:

It should be fine, as long as you listen at bedroom-reasonable levels and your speakers are efficient. Most amplifiers run at around a watt or two for average listening.

You'll be OK. Prolly won't be at Rolling Stones concert levels, but you'll be able to hear it just fine.

I made it through my early head-bangin' teens with a radio shack 1.5w amp and two fisher 10" 3-way speakers. It was fine, and could get pretty loud, but the bass goes away at higher volume. Wattage, in my opinion, is not so much for volume itself, but for definition and bass at higher volume.

Cool. Thanks for the info.
