Hello! 8-bit gamer and B&W TV user
 

I am so happy to have found this website. My interests are the following:

* I am currently looking for two very specific models of RCA B&W televisions from the late 70s and early 80s. I just don't have the exact model numbers and hope to find help here.

* I want to find a good CRT option for my 8-bit gaming consoles (Atari, Commodore, Nintendo). I hope to find a good 19 to 21 inch video monitor for sale here.

* I would like to learn how to adjust overscan and some other technical things.

Still have my VIC 20. Used it QUITE recently in fact to build some crosshatches and color bars just for fun. Used it recently to just create a big white square on a black background when I was playing with the Sony S8-301's horizontal instability.

It's little curvy cassette drive DIED a few years ago....and I had to just resort to "recording" my funny little test patterns with my Archos AV700 for use later on my little internal transmitter. I know I coulda used Windows Paint to do this....but using the VIC 20 was fun after so many years :)

I use to use my C-64 for dot gen. before I got a real one..... Worked pretty goooood...

I never got a tape player for mine. I use to have lots of written out programs that I would type in when I needed to run them, then leave the thing turned on for a week.

Was a bit of a pain with the assembler code which is what I used it for mostly.

I also used it to program EEPROMS and ROMS Early ones required a strange programming pulse I used the address and data ports to program.
