Whats your most used set?

Just trying to start some friendly discussion here.

So what is your most used B&W set in your collection?

This one, and it's still working fine with no repairs after at least 75 hours of playing time on it. The yoke is a little crooked though.

Is that one of the sets where the screen folds down into the case?

Funny thing that you should start this topic today. The set I use the most other than during winter is my 9TW333

...which is the actual 'TV on the porch'. I had occasion to show it off today and the weather was so nice I decided to leave it on and enjoy it for a while.

My other restored sets are used on a rotating basis, with the Admiral console probably getting the most use. Both because it's a relatively recent restoration and because the picture could not be sharper.

I love them all to death, and each one gets a turn from time to time, but most recently used this winter has been the DuMont RA-113, mainly because of where it's situated.

You leave that TV outside !! Doesn't it get bugs, mice and stuff inside it? and I thought that it was bad for CRT's to be exposed to extremes of temperatures??

I don't do a lot of TV watching, but this one gets fired up most often.

Yes it is. I really should recap at least part of it but it works so good, cool cans, everything.

I love using my '40's sets, but my "worker" is my 10" 1957 Admiral. It plays absolutely as new. There's nothing like watching a classic TV show or movie on these vintage sets!

Drop-dead gorgeous, Phil! Ingrid's cute, too.

I have to include the jewel of my collection, my '46 RCA 621TS. I use it a little more sparingly than some of others, but watching that small screen in that art-deco cabinet is always a treat!

my most used it a 1959 zenith with the 16e21 chaissis,
built like a tank.

I rotate mine too, but overall I'd say this Admiral 24A12 sees the most use.
