1957 RCA Brochure

I don't know if anyone has posted this brochure before but if not here it is.

Of the sets listed in it I have The Blaine, The Gladwin, The Socialite, The Lockwood and various colors of the 8" Portable which they apparently didn't feel merited a name.

Just under 4 Mb.

Eric H.

I have a later but similar RCA Victor TV catalogue to yours. My catalogue also contains along w/the receivers, you picture, the Mark Series CTC-7 color receivers. Good to see these brochures/catalogues survive. Just a p.s. The last two full door consoles, while pictured, were never produced.

I think my TV set http://www.wa2ise.com/radios/rca21t8395.jpg may be a "The Cooper", page 6, though the model number of mine has an extra digit at the end.

The last digit would denote the type of finish, they probably just put the base number to simplify things.

Eric is exactly right. The last digit "5" on your Cooper model indicates a Mahogany finish.

Thanks, I updated my TV page http://www.wa2ise.com/radios/tv.html accordingly.

I believe that was similar to a flyer I gave to another archive site operator for some models he was missing pictures of. My pieces came from mid 90s liquidation sale at Brandt's . There were also many old TVs & magazines I bought from this shop run by a bit of a collector it seems.
