Which vintage TV will you watch the Superb owl on?
|
My flat-panel TV AND my Zenith porthole TV.
|
I am a 49ers fan. I may not watch the "Owl" at all this year. :)
|
I know what you mean. Really bad officiating in that game.
|
A "Superb Owl"? Hmm...gonna have to look into that one... :scratch2:

+1. Being from central California, I've always been a 49ers fan. The last quarter of the game last week was hard to watch.:sigh: |

I'll watch the Superb owl on this set.
Probably half time I'll walk over to my neighborhood bar: http://www.kumascorner.com/about/ |
The Superb Owl will be watched on my Avanti.
But not by me! |
Since it should be warmer out(not single digits or negative) the workshop should be warm enough, that I will probably be working on my Silvertone 1722 radio. But I might throw a splitter on the converter box and watch the game on both the 1988 Zenith system 3 and the 1974 RCA XL-100

Just like in previous years:
|
I will probably be simulcasting on both my Admirals . . .
|
A naked (no cabinet) TS-18 and a Sony VPH-D50HTU projector. I may even put the 8 inch tube on the little critter!

Here's my Admiral bakelite console http://videokarma.org/attachment.php...1&d=1391387673
The picture is grainy, as I adjusted the CRT faint, so I'd get a picture of the cabinet too. And at youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpZxl_p1wsI |
Yeah, I MIGHT go in the Ship's Radio Room, & flip on my Porthole for a minute or 2... That's about as much Superb Owl I care to stomach..
|
Snuck down the workshop for a minute or two. It's still a work in progress, but it looks a lot better than the Broncos did in the first half.
