Fake but Fun!
I'd add this one to my collection if it were real.

Looks like a Pilot TV 37 got frisky with a younger German table radio that went to finishing school in England, based on the FM band?
|
Not fake! I got the file and made one on my 3D printer. The resin based tubes run cool. If you don't like the color, tweak the printer settings and make another one. I watched Peter Pan in 3D and when Peter flew out of the screen I had to duck. The only downside was the color was a bit plastic...not lollipop. Who knew those TK-41's could do such good 3D. Ain't progress wonderful.

Based on the dial, I would say it is "Scandahuvian," as we used to say.

:D I like how the very first sentence is a tip off to it being fake ; "First ever t.v./radio combination !" .... Hell , It seems like all my favorite 1940s consoles had radios in with their TVs , Dumont being one of my all time favorites . Gotta love a bit of good natured humor :thmbsp:

Here's a REAL "Fake TV" :
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B001G3RGKM I simulates a 27" TV's lighting so burglars think someone is home! Never ceases to amaze me.... |
That first photo resembles my tubed Norelco table radio quite well. Minus the tv :)
