RCA Parts Cross Reference Source
Does anyone know of an RCA parts cross-reference source ? I wanted to find out the specs on some NOS RCA parts. One is a thermistor number 137762, and the other says resistor on the package, but it looks like current limiter. It's black and has the part number 132502.
I was given a box of RCA repair parts years ago. Some of parts are easy to identify and others don't have any markings on them. ED |
IIRC findemkeepem has one. Wont get much from that
just subs & general description. Put up pictures & if they are common we can ID them. 73 Zeno:smoke: |

These are the pictures, Zeno. The cold resistance of the thermistor was about 50 ohms. The package marked resistor has a cold resistance of 60 ohms. The resistance of both parts descends the longer I leave the test probes connected.

The resistor looks like a VDR that was used with the thermistor in the degausing circuit.

The parts were given to me from a former RCA repairman long ago. Ed |
This may be a typical thermister/vdr pair for degaussing.
The thermister is marked QTP for quick turnover part. When looking in Sams keep in mind the 6 digit part ##'s were assigned in order. Odds are both were used in color TV's. 73 Zeno:smoke: |
