Curb alert: Admiral L7132 roundie console in Lorton VA
Found this Admiral console color TV in a condemned house I was exploring. Plugged it in, turned it on, and it gave a raster. The tuner also seems to do things. A google search says it's from 1962.
Come get it, and quick. Located on the 3rd floor of a house that's about to be torn down in Lorton VA, about 20 min South of Washington DC. Send me a text if you can come get it and I'll get you in contact with the person watching the property. My number is {removed}. Thanks, -Jason |
Oh please somebody save that gem! That is one gorgeous TV!

Neat set, sure held up well. Can barely tell it's a roundie when it's off.
If I was there and knew it was up for grabs I would have hauled it 10 clicks on a dolly if I had to. |
If I found that for free I would not let it stay there even if I had to keep it under a tarp on my porch...If I could not take it to keep it I'd take it to get it in the right hands.
That is a $120-300 set easy, given the life in it. |
Take that set home with you! It deserves to be saved.

I just emailed this link to a local VK operative.....waiting for response...

I have been in many condemned houses over 43 years, mostly as a personal obsession, to pay last respects to a 100-plus year old treasure and never saw such a holy grail like this in one!:tresbon: |
Got in contact with someone local. Sounds like this one might be saved :)
