Emerson Model 639 High Voltage
 

Hello, I got this set working and would like a suggestion should I adjust the high voltage? I used my HV probe and could not get a reading, I do get a nice arc to probe tip. I grounded the probe to outside of chassis or should I of attached elsewhere? And I need to get rid of the selenium rectifier is next task.

The probe ground should go to the chassis. Here's a good resto discussion on the 639..
