It's too bad the chassis has been removed, but it's worth retro-fitting something into it. I wouldn't even cringe at a modern conversion. The case, I'm assuming custom, is a real gem. With a space-age lamp and antenna's on top, it would be the centerpiece in a '50's decor room.
