E. H. Scott Radio labs Model 6T11A Projection Television for sale in Ohio
 

I have an E.H. Scott Radio Labs model 6T11A with serial number 881 that is located in Grafton, Ohio 44044-1435

It is in decent shape and looks to be complete except all of the vacuum tubes have been pulled. I would sell it for $500 and the buyer will need to pick it up, as it's too heavy to ship.

I have pictures, but am not sure how to post them.

Missing all tubes and needing a refinish I don't think you'll find a buyer at $500. One in better shape went for IIRC $100 at the last ARCI radiofest auction before covid.

I think that TV should work once the tubes are replaced. In the early 1970s, I found a Zenith 23" console TV in a trash pile in my home town and, like your E. H. Scott set, every (or almost every) tube was missing. The only tubes in the set when I found it were the 23ANP4 CRT and the 1J3 HV rectifier.

I replaced the missing tubes, and the set worked great on the three VHF TV stations in my area near Cleveland. (Why the set's former owner filched all but the two tubes I mentioned out of the set, however, is a mystery to me, even to this day--almost 50 years later.)

The audio system in this set was very good as well; so good, in fact (with a 6BN6 gated beam discriminator and a 6BQ5 output tube, not to mention a 6x9 oval speaker in the base of the cabinet, below the CRT), that I connected a Knight-Kit FM tuner across the volume control and enjoyed FM music with it until two years later, when I moved (long story) and had to get rid of that set and the FM tuner.

A great story! Love these old tube radios and television sets!

In 1969 I had a job as an extra in a WWII army movie and a team leader for us extras came over and said we need a couple of you guys to jump into the back of that caravan of trucks taking off over there. There were about 5 guys who jumped up and ran over and jumped into the moving vehicles. So I believe there is always someone who will try to remove tubes while it's running.
