On my 25CM30 and also 26KC20 When there's a bright or white background the images in front of the white all of a sudden gets too much contrast and the color saturation increases making the rest of the images look dark. What's wrong? The AGC control is set per manual. Thank you, Perry

IIRC they had a "blanking" tube ( 6KT8 or 6GH8 ? ). Try a NOS or KNOWN good tube. Dont trust a checker ! Sounds like the video is dropping out but
the color stays so look at the video chain. AGC was a good try
but AGC overload usually also gives tearing & audio buzz.

There are a few 6kt8 in the color circuits.Which one controls blanking and what does it blank.Thanks for the information. What's IIRC?
