GE PE-250(have camera head, need CCU and lens)
 

last year i acquired 3 GE-PE 250 camera heads for dirt cheap. all i have is the camera heads and camera control panel, with the cable that plugs into the control panel. they came with NO lenses, camera cable or pedestal/tripod. i have looked on the inside of all them, and two of them are COMPLETELY trashed on the inside, and all of the four tubes are missing on two of them. there are also remnants of a critter living inside of them (old pistachios, small pieces of newspaper) BUT, one out of the three is in much better condition and has ALL OF THE TUBES!! i would love to be able to get it working, but there is still a lot of equipment that is missing (a lens, cable, power supply, etc.) i have contacted a few people in the past trying to find resources, but it didn't work. i would only intend to get this one camera working, as the other two are missing all of the tubes, and a lot of other electronics. i was wondering if anyone would know where i could purchase any of the missing equipment?

I’ve been in a similar situation with old camera gear, and it can be tricky to track down the parts you need. eBay is usually a good place to look for vintage broadcast equipment, but just make sure you’re checking the condition and compatibility of anything before buying. I’d also recommend reaching out to some forums or online communities dedicated to camera restoration—I've found a lot of help there when I’ve been searching for specific parts. If you're still hitting dead ends, sometimes repair shops that specialize in old broadcast equipment might have spares or at least be able to point you in the right direction. It can take a bit of time, but it’s worth the effort if you're really set on getting that camera working again!

If you're on facebook, it may pay to hook up with the Eyes Of A Generation group. It's all about old TV cameras just like these GEs, so surely some old studio or TV station engineer on there can at least point you in the right direction.
