Just popped up in Barrie Ontario Canada. Listed on FB Marketplace asking $4000 Canadian. (That's $2921.86 U.S. at today's exchange rate). You might need your passport as well. Directly north of Toronto.

Ok I'm going to respond to my own post. Looks like the FB Gentleman changed his own ad. It is now showing a 1959 RCA Color set. Sorry for the mix up. Someone not doing their homework again. And here I thought it was a collector, turned out to be just an overzealous seller. Sorry guys.

CTC-9 worth around $200-500USD if the CRT is good.

I contacted the gentleman the previous morning. He lives about an hour and a half away from me. He originally posted a photo from the ETF site of a 1954 CT100 which I recognized. He was not sure what his set was. I was skeptical it was a CT100 and asked for some photos.

From the model no. on the back I found it was the '59 Winslow and shared him the photo I grabbed from the ETF Ed Reitan site to explain what it is. He said the set has sat in a shed since 1988 with it's face against the wall and he could not easily extracate the set. The next hour I see he updated his ad and put the photo I forwarded him plus my explanation as to what set it must be. No clue what the front was like. The photo posted above I wonder when it was taken? Must have gotten some help to get it out of the shed?

I believe he thinks it is worth a lot of money. I told him a friend of mine would dearly appreciate the set as his first color roundie. (I have affected him and he is new to this hobby).

$4000 is obviously over the top. I had the same estimate of $300 if it has a good CRT. Note the finish to the top is pretty rough and he did not put it in the ad.

Attached is the photo of the top.
