1976 Zenith Chromacolor II

I have a Zenith Chromacolor II in the distinctive corner model with the brushed stainless and cherrywood cabinet. In a Metropolitan Home Magazine a long time ago, it was listed as a contemporary collectible. I am downsizing and would like to find out its value as I will be selling it. It still works although the color is a bit off. Can anyone help me with this?

I am sure somebody would love to have your set. How much you can get is difficult to estimate. If you need to get rid of it soon try listing it on eBay with a very low price of like $10.00. Be sure to consider that it will be expensive to properly repair that set. If you have time to wait for that buyer that is looking for that exact model you may get hundreds for it. Be sure to include any paperwork, etc. that goes to the set. This website has a classified section as well. Where ever you advertize it you must post photos to show the set all over.
Good luck

All of a sudden I've been seeing these all over the place.

When you post it on ebay, you might want to mention "as featured in Brokeback Mountain!!"

Lol

P.S. This model Zenith is not an "early color" set. It is a very modern set by the standards of many of us here. Early color sets are those with vacuum tubes.

Guys, am I correct about that?

Absolutely.

Yes, I believe that is right. Shouldn't this thread be under the "Rectangular Tube & Solid State " category?
