The 'Doo Wop Express'
 
Hi everyone,

For those of you who enjoy this kind of music, a northwest-based DJ named Ron Norwood has produced a nationally syndicated radio show called the 'Doo-Wop Express'. It's a finely done effort, aired once a week with a lot of music that haven't heard anywhere else. It plays in the Phoenix area on KRDE 94.1 from 7- to- 9:00 pm every Saturday. I think it is available to listen to on the web too, but that isn't what I do. This show has kinda' become a weekly tradition for my family; we crank up three or four of our Zenith tubies for a bit of mid-to pretty loud volume exercise, then kick back and enjoy the aura. I know this format is available on XM and other such mediums...but that just isn't the same. Getting the tubes glowing cranking out this vintage music is what it's all about! A quality listening experience.
