Well, they took my $30 offer. Here are the details - looks exactly like the blond Y832, the band selector is marked A, B & C.....A is AM and it's on the top half of the dial ring not the bottom like on the Y832. bottom half of the dial - band B is 40 to 120 meters and band C is 13 to 41 meters. No tone control like the Y832 has. Label on the bottom of the cabinet reads - "chassis 6Y60T & 6Y61T 115 volts 50/60 cycles". It also says "chassis 6Y60BT & 6Y61BT 115 or 230 volts 50/60 cycles AC". The tube line-up is ; 6BE6, 6BA6 (2), 6X4, 6AT6 and a 6K6GT.

I decided to test it out and was very pleased.......it works fine on AM and does get some shortwave. For now I'm just going to give it a cleaning and enoy it.

If anyone has some information, I'd really like to find out what I can about this unusual Zenith ?
