HaHa! Im pretty clean minded, but I admit, I though the exact same thing you did! I agree, women in back in the 60s looked really good. Look at old photos like that, and you wonder what happened over the years. If a woman looked like that today, alot of guys would certianly be looking (I certianly would!). So I dont know why things had to change. Ive said it numerous times, I was born in the wrong generation.
But back to the topic, thats a nice set. I would think that if the ad was aimed at the man who was looking for a "quality TV", they should be showing a zenith set in this ad for obvious reasons. Then again, its hard to see quality when they are looking at a TV with a missing back cover and no chassis. Take a good look, you can see the floor through the bottom of the cabinet! If Im not mistaken, the other TV off to the left has its cover removed resting on the wall. Yep, they should have been looking at zenith's!
