Hate to sound Zen, but what is the sound of a kinescope landing on a 50lb stone when hurled from the hayloft doors? I found out plenty.
Yeah, these old kines should be saved for those of us that get into antique telly resto, but at the time I wasn't on this forum--and it might not have even existed.
You guys would cry at all the picture tubes I either smashed or otherwise disposed of--as I could not find a market at the time--and couldn't even give them away.
Wimmen and electronics just don't seem to mix, and it was the distaff side I had at the time that said I needed to get rid of this stuff. She was right to a degree; it would soon cost a fortune to dispose of it, and there was a free drive at the time where I could get rid of about a hundred sets without paying a dime.
That was then, and this is now. If I have anything you guys need please speak up and I'll look. You can figure out how to get it shipped if it is a bigass kine.... And I don't need nuffin for it.

I think I may still have one unused poly roundie left. The carton is long-since rotted from round it, but the tube I think is still there in the barn. Not sure how many wishes I can make come true at this point; I threw a heckuva lot of stuff away....
