That Setchell-talk about a horse of a different color! Sure was designed with the serviceman in mind. Lots of good selling points but I guess the competition was just too much for them? That would have to have been one of their last sets. When I read you saying it was a tube modular chassis I expected this to be like some Motorola's and others, which had printed circuit modules with tubes on them. But man, this is different! And the chassis really looks clean! Well worth saving!
In the first inside pic, that roundie is the same as my -15. Only other one I've seen. You really found something when you found this place. Could there be many such stashes left out there? I've really got to track down the repairman in the next town, who has a building the same size as this one. The one time I was in there (just in the doorway) the place was just a wall of tv's. I've always figured they were all later model, but who knows? The guy is just so hard to get a hold of, he does shift work at (believe it or not) a tampon factory! (no punchline provided) Seeing stuff like this really gets me to daydreaming about what I might find!
