I've been given, and given away many CTC-5s and 21AXP22s. Not in the past 2 years, but within the past 5. It's all about timing.

Same with one of my other hobbies; Toyota Diesel cars & trucks. A particular engine (just engine; not truck) that's rare and collectible is the 1985 2L-T engine. They go on eBay for between $1000 for a total basket case to $4000 for a documented rebuilt with a good pump. I paid $5000 to rebuild one "correctly" a few years ago. But there's one in excellent shape sitting on Craigslist unsold for $1000. Go figure! If I had time, I'd go get it and resell it on eBay. My luck, one of mine will blow up next week, and this CL ad will be gone...
