Later Sonora stuff I've seen would be a challenge to restore, as they were rather minimalist in circuit design--much like the infamous Muntz.

But that earlier set might have the full goods--including at least 3 pix IF stages....

Sonora was one brand IIRC that often made superhet table radios with no IF amplifier stage; the mixer stage outpoot transformered directly to the detector stage. This meant one less tube and socket--with assoc components, and one less IF can....but one more large resistor to take up the difference in the filament chain....I guess making a space heater was still cheaper than making a radio. Another corner-cutter company was DeWald...
