"Given to me by my Grandfather in 1977". There's your reason for the high price. This guy is trying to sell sentimental value, which I see quite often. It's like the idiot that was trying to sell an early '60's tube type Curtis-Mathes console stereo on CL for $2500. I clued him in on the facts of life, telling him he'd be lucky to get $25. He thanked me; but, said it had too much sentimental value to his Dad to sell it that cheap. I don't care that you have fond memories of Grannie listening to Guy Lombardo records on it or listening to your Firestone Christmas album during the holidays. I'm not buying memories and if it means that much to the seller, they should keep it.
