The power should be switched by the selector on the tuner/pre I believe. I have not been around these all in one type combo's with the TV but (and you may have to determine) if this unit is set up to power either the TV or the radio/phono/amp seperately or not.
Magnavoxes of this vintage (in general) were designed that if you were playing a record for instance and after the last play the unit would cycle and power everything off. I'm not sure how the TV function plays into all of this. That amp would be really cool if it's switched for the TV audio!
Unfortunalely, schematics that contain seperate pieces don't always cover the "interfacing" of everything together as a whole but you may need to gather as much info as you can and troubleshoot from there.
