Thanks everyone for your posts. I have been a passive member for quite some time and have always enjoyed seeing what everyone has been working on, my only posts were to share my tv project, a
7jp4 monitor. I have since sold it and now have started tinkering with electronics again and thought I might try my hand at another all tube crt. I would not have to go with a oscilloscope tube but I was looking for something that did not have too high of voltage needs. From the sounds of the replies the "brute force" is no better.
