review this again, regardless if you set is getting color programming to work, does the fine tune behave the same (pic to loss of sync).
Does the color killer work the same (snow and color snow).
the idea is to isolate where the problem is, the above gives clues. It prob is just a tweek of L704 based on my interpretation of your descriptions. BUT the idea here is to learn how to trouble shoot in a logical systematic approach.
