Um, I hope you didn't put a regular paper cone tweeter in there, because this radio was designed for an electrostatic tweeter which uses the plate current off of the 50C5 output tube to power it, if you put a standard paper cone tweeter in place of the electrostatic tweeter you're going to risk causing a fire because paper cone tweeters aren't made to withstand the 300+volts of plate current being given off by the radio to power the electrostatic tweeter circuit.
