Don't use disc capacitors to couple the sweep to the deflection plates in the CRT. They don't work as well.
Of course, if the CRT, 7JP4 is a dud, that can be a problem!

Ok, thanks, I'll see what I can come up with. The current owner in his listing mentioned that he attempted to power it up but didn't get anything on the screen, hopefully he didn't ruin anything by attempting to power it up like he did.
I'm guessing this Motorola isn't as rare as the Meck I'm currently working on.
What would be a good price to offer the guy for the TV?
