Hi telecolor.no idea what year it was built.it was given to me in the mid 80s as an older camera.bayonette lens mounts were the thing by then.this pentex is screwmount lens with inexpensive lens available at pawn shops.i took advantage of that..it was the 1st slr camera I had that could give an accurate light reading with indoor lighting(I took advantage of that too).
