Greetings everyone, today I went to one of the local antique malls near me to sell some old fans I had fixed up and needed to get rid of (I'm friends with the owner, and he buys stuff from me all the time) and one of the booths there had an early 1980s GE Superadio II for sale in their booth and it was on sale too so I picked it up and I got it for $44.
I put some batteries into it and turned it on and it was working really well yet except for the volume control pot which seems to have a dead spot in it (maybe a dirty pot.)
The condition of the unit is pretty dang near mint except for some paint splatters on the cabinet and on the power cord, even the battery compartment is super clean!
Anything I should know about these radios as a first time owner of a Superadio?
