While in high school 1960-64, I would go downtown Milwaukee and watch all the different brands of color set on the 6th floor of the Boston Store and Gimbels at Southgate mall. I didn’t understand what the best color should be then and they all had different color temperatures. Intrigued by Magnavox and it’s “blue cinema cast” but settled with a RCA CT19 in 1966. I saw color set in the 50’s and they were dark and not adjusted properly with usually green casts.
