I did have a burnout when I did the raster test this weekend, the pair of resistors I had in for R255( 1.5m) overloaded and went up in smoke.
Seems I exceeded the voltage rating of the part and they could not take it, parts list just says HV resistor, no power rating, have 3 1w ones in there and they are holding, but getting quite warm.
Finding the right HV resistor in the right range is proving to be tricky, so I intend to something a bit silly ( overkill ), not silly if it works, right?
I'm getting a bunch of 300k 3w resistors, hook 5 in series, for 1.5m, since I'm not sure of the voltage or power rating of the original part, I'm sure this replacement string will far exceed the original part, and not fry again!
