+1 on all the dislike of the effecient bulbs...on top of all that most tend to emit RFI that ruins radio and sometimes even TV reception.
For the most part incandescents between 40W and 200W vanished a year or two ago in fall with some bill or executive order Brandon signed(er um auto penned).... Supposedly it's been nixed this year but I've yet to see my normal watrage daylight incandescents return.
Right now I can still get 200-300W regular bulbs at Ace hardware and Menards...I can typically also find appliance bulbs (either regular base small envelope or C9 or C7 base miniatures...I think I even saw a 60W mini somewhere). A few months ago AutoZone was selling 75W soft white rough duty bulbs...I should check if there's more.
Once in a while I'll be in a rural grocery store that still has stock or get lucky at a thrift...A month or two after they got banned the Pewaukee St Vinny's had a crate worth of cartons of Chinese incandescents cheap and I stocked up.
