I wish Teletext had succeeded here in the USA. I know that in 2000, when I visited Ireland and the UK, I used the Teletext on the hotel-room TV sets a lot, but I never watched any TV shows. There were big quality differences in the Teletext control functions among the several TV sets we had in different hotels.
