Ya that looks bad but it sounds like you got it corrected..
Alot of people shouldnt be working on these things... The first thing you do is TRY TO REPLACE THE PARTS WITH THE SAME GOOD STUFF THAT WAS IN THE UNIT....
Second is to do a good job!!
Thats not easy to do now so alot will just use anything and it really shows botched restorations and carelessness.......
Keeps your hands out of it if you dont care enough to do it right! (Which takes alot more time)
