Can you at least count up the ICs to see if you have the right number? (plus any unique switches). If so, it might be possible to trace out the circuit and reverse engineer it. While doing that, you might explain what possessed you to bid on this when there are more-or-less complete color bar generators available from time to time, cheaper. Is it just the challenge?
