Thought I'd just update this thread a little... "Betty" is now nestled in a local repair shop, whose owner tells me that the CRT is a goner...
The original CRT was subbed with a 21FJ, so the trick will be to locate one of these, and then get it installed. He's also checking over the rest of the chassis, to see if the caps are holding up alright.
So that's where things stand... any help in locating a good 21FJ (or, of course, a 21AXP22A-- fat chance!!) at a reasonable price would be much appreciated. I'm determined that this set shall live again!!
